Brian Forrest is the principal broker and co-founder of FJR Commercial. After graduating from the University of Tennessee, Brian began his career with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, where he spent five years developing a strong foundation in sales and business. Eager for a new challenge, he relocated to Louisville and joined Hoagland Commercial Realtors, a move that quickly proved to be his true calling. 24 years later, Brian continues to bring his passion and expertise to every client and project through FJR.
Throughout his career, Brian has had the privilege of leading transformative projects that breathe new life into overlooked spaces. Some of the developments he’s most proud of include Paristown in the Paristown Pointe neighborhood, the revitalization of Quartermaster Station in Jeffersonville, the iconic Medical Arts Building on Eastern Parkway, and Colonial Manor Shopping Center on Charlestown Road in New Albany. Each project reflects his commitment to creating spaces where businesses thrive and communities grow.
With a sharp eye for opportunity, Brian has guided major developments from concept to completion, overseen the leasing of more than one million square feet of commercial space, and brokered more than 500 million in transactions. He has built lasting partnerships with property owners, investors, and currently over 300 tenants. Since 2007, Brian has been a member of the Bluegrass Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO). He serves on the Advisory Board of Paducah Bank and is proud to be a long-time volunteer with USA Cares, a national, Louisville based organization providing post 9/11 military veterans and their families with financial assistance and post service skills training.
